Our owner
Branden Shuler is the dedicated owner of DES of Wilmington, Inc., a reputable business he has led since 2004, with a rich background in the industry dating back to 1996. His journey began at the age of 15 when a wiring mishap on his car stereo ignited his passion for installation and customization. Starting at Sound Station and Security, Branden honed his skills and knowledge, laying the foundation for his career growth.
He later moved to Audio Express, where he further expanded his expertise, which serves as the backbone of his successful company today. Spending five years as a technician at Audio Express allowed him to develop and perfect his craft, leading him to take the leap into entrepreneurship. Branden's unwavering commitment to excellence and top-notch service has propelled DES into a thriving business, evolving from a one-man show to a company with over 10 employees, including 6 certified technicians, 3 sales representatives and multiple porters catering to clients along the East coast from Myrtle Beach to New Bern.
